I have always admired the works of Van Gogh so decided to make a tribute in my own way. I wished to portray some of his works with a bit of a story by starting with the famous bedroom. Within this I have included a number of objects and people who have appeared in his paintings, namely, sunflowers, boots, potatoes, self-portraits, the old man and the woman with the baby. Here I have portrayed a family life that looks as if times are hard which in a way depicts how Van Gogh suffered.
